Cons :

1. Not ergonomic

My Opinion :

COSMIC BYTE CB-GK-14 SIRIUS is the Only mechanical keyboard other than Logitech's which connects to 3 Bluetooth devices and major plus that it also connects to 1 wired device via micro-usb port. The mechanical keys feel good, but my typing muscle memory will take some adjustment and training, this could potentially be so because I am not used to 80% keyboard. Instructions in manual are not well described, Bluetooth pairing is not intuitive, but works well after you learn how to do it.

Coming to ergonomics, The keyboards is flat and height can not be adjusted, and when kept flat my palms accidentally land on the lower keys while accessing the higher keys. this is the only major trade-off for me. I am experimenting by placing a palm rest, but it is not a portable solution.

Even after the unique beasty specs I have to rate it 4.5 because of the ergonomic trade off.

Having owned multiple mechanical keyboards ranging from Corsair, Cooler Master, Realforce to IBM Model-M's I was skeptical at the possible quality of this COSMIC BYTE CB-GK-14 SIRIUS mechanical keyboard having never heard of CosmicByte before. I was expecting this to be some rebranded and re-packaged generic Chinese keyboard (which it still may be), but I was quite surprised at the actual build quality of this.

The build quality is quite nice, feels well designed with good weight and no flex, and the Outemu Blue switches also feel almost similar to Cherry Blue with very minute differences that only a seasoned keyboard enthusiast would know. The keycaps while are the thin ABS ones we've come to expect from cheaper keyboards, are still fine for use, they have a slight texture to them which could wear off in some time of heavy use - but only time will tell.

The LED lighting features are good and plenty and the blue-tooth also works well once you set it up. Additional support for wired more is great as well - a quick disclaimer though: the box doesn't come with the necessary micro-usb cable to either charge this keyboard or use it in wired mode.

COSMIC BYTE CB-GK-14 SIRIUS mechanical keyboard has a seemingly endless set of animations and color options but I wish the led would glow just a little brighter
The dials on the top are great I wish they were programmable though but serve to fulfill an aesthetic and usually functional design

One of the bigger bummers is the lack of a kickstand to adjust the height but placing a common item like an eraser under the keyboard over comes this troubling aspect. it uses Micro B for charging thumbs down must move to type C
Per Key RGB config is nice to have on the two gaming modes but the configuration should be made easier / possible with companion software too.

the top row of keyboard setting keys like usb, lock, bluetooth connections and game modes have are always on shifting rgb I really find that triggering and feel like tearing it apart and turning them off.

All in all 4/5 great keyboard solid construction seems very durable, satisfying click, wish it had cherry switches but at this cost point im not complaining.

Conclusion :

Getting a mechanical keyboard with RGB back light and bluetooth functionality at this price is amazing. You won’t find a cheaper mechanical wireless keyboard. Easily a top budget option. Just go for it.
